On Friday, opposition leaders had a meeting with Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi, during which PTI leaders expressed their concerns about not being able to meet the imprisoned party chairman, Imran Khan.
The Supreme Court also issued a communiqué regarding a meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders with the Chief Justice of Pakistan. The communiqué stated that the meeting was attended by Umar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Barrister Ali Zafar, Barrister Salman Akram Raja, Latif Khosa, and Dr. Babar Awan.
Registrar Muhammad Saleem Khan and Secretary of the Law and Justice Commission Tanzila Sabahat assisted the Chief Justice.
Meeting between the PTI delegation and the Chief Justice of Pakistan lasted for two hours.
