Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan on Thursday hinted to issue orders for closure of Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) today.

The SC heard the case pertaining to the promotion of employees while the SC two-member divisional bench headed by Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Aijaz Ul Hassan heard the case.

The CJ in his remarks said that ” no federal secretary are working in the country all are busy in issuing letters which is a work of clerks.”

Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed hinted that he will issue order for the closure of the PSM today.

The court during course of the hearing summoned Federal Minister for planning Asad Umar, Federal Minister for Privatization Muhammad Mian Soomro and Federal Minister for Industries and Production Hammad Azhar on the next hearing.
