RAWALPINDI: Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Rashid Mehmood, has kicked off farewell visits as his retirement date is nearing.
In this connection, the CJCSC visited Naval Headquarters Islamabad and paid a farewell call on Naval Chief Admiral Zakaullah.
According to Pakistan Navy’s spokesman, the CJCSC was given guard of honour by a smart contingent of Pakistan Navy.
The Naval Chief hailed the services of CJCSC for defense of the country and armed forces of Pakistan.
General Mehmood thanked the PN Chief for their cooperation and expressed best wishes for him and Pakistan Navy.
The CJCSC also paid a visit to Air Headquarters and met Air Chief Air Marshal Sohail Amaan. On the occasion, General Mehmood hailed Pakistan Air Force’s role in success of Operation Zarb-e-Azb. The Air chief paid tributes to the services of General Mehmood for the defence of the country and armed forces of Pakistan.
