ISLAMABAD: General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), paid a courtesy farewell visit to Naval Headquarters in Islamabad. During the visit, he met with Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS).
An ISPR statement highlighted that CJCSC Mirza expressed high regard for the Pakistan Navy’s operational readiness and praised its unwavering commitment to defending the country’s maritime boundaries. The CNS conveyed gratitude to the outgoing CJCSC for his significant contributions toward enhancing joint operations among the Tri-Services.
Upon arrival, a ceremonial guard of honour was presented to CJCSC Mirza by a well-drilled naval contingent, marking the formalities of his farewell visit.
