LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered the concerned authorities to finalize contracts with the selected companies regarding the Punjab’s Clean Drinking Water programme.
He said that to implement the programme on fast track there was a need to work professionally.
He was chairing a high level meeting in Lahore on Sunday to review progress of Khadim-e-Punjab Clean Water Program.
Addressing the meeting, he said this important program was linked directly to human health issue. He called for moving forward professionally for speedy implementation of the programme, which will help ensure access to clean and safe drinking water in the province.
The Chief Minister directed to implement and monitor progress on the Clean Drinking Program through use of information technology.
