QUETTA:Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, on Wednesday visited the Central Police Office in Quetta to review the security arrangements for Ashura, Muharram.
The Commander 12 Corps, Provincial Home Minister, Chief Secretary Balochistan, IG Police Balochistan, and IG FC, among other relevant officials, were also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister was briefed by the home department officials about the security arrangements at the Data Command and Communication Center established in the Central Police Office, Quetta.
The CM was told that the main Ashura procession is being fully monitored through CCTV cameras. Besides, The procession is also being monitored aerially through drone cameras.
The Chief Minister was also briefed about the security situation of Ashura processions in other districts of the province.
Sarfaraz Bugti expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements and directed to keep vigil on anti-peace elements.
