QUETTA: The Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfaraz Bugti has revealed plans to establish new districts across the province to accelerate growth and governance.
During a rally in Breshar, Pishin, he officially declared Breshar as a new district, promising enhanced development prospects and better administrative focus in the area. He committed to revitalizing government services, including reopening schools and providing high-quality healthcare, warning that accountability measures will be enforced for those neglecting their duties.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed his dedication to engaging with communities throughout Balochistan, emphasizing his continuous visits to understand local needs. On regional relations, he described Afghanistan as a close neighbor and reiterated Pakistan’s long-standing support for the Afghan people over the past four decades. However, he voiced his disappointment over the lack of appreciation for this support, stressing that Afghan brothers remain an integral part of Pakistan’s brotherhood.
He assured the nation of its strong defense capabilities, highlighting that under Field Marshal General Asim Munir’s leadership, no foreign entity can intrude on Pakistani soil or threaten its sovereignty. The CM also condemned recent attacks on Iran and strongly denounced Israel’s aggressive actions, advocating for regional peace and stability.
