Peshawar: Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Ali Ameen Gandapur has called important meeting over PTI staging protest on October 15 on D-chowk.
The meeting will be held in CM house Peshawar while important decision expected to be taken.
According to the PTI leader Sheikh Waqas Akram arrangements for protest and preparations will be reviewed in the meeting.
Yesterday, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has conditioned the postponement of call of protest on October 15 with allowing meeting with Imran Khan in jail.
The PTI core committee meeting has decided to cancel the protest announced for October 15 with permission to meet with founding chairman of the party Imran Khan till October 14.
Sources said that the PTI chairman Barrister Gauhar, Ali Muhammad Khan, Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Ameen Gandapur are in favour for postponement of the protest immediately.
Sources further said that the PTI leaders Hamid Khan, Umar Ayub and former speaker National Assembly (NA) Asad Qaiser are not supporting the call of protest openly.
The PTI has given a call of protest on October 15 which is the occasion when Shangai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) is going to be held in Islamabad for the first time.
On the other hand the government has rejected the PTI demand to arrange meeting with founding chairman of Imran Khan.
