CM KP calls on Imran Khan in Adyala jail to brief him about SIFC meeting

Rawalpindi: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Ali Ameen Gandapur on Sunday met the founding chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan in the Adyala jail.

The meeting between the CM KP and Imran Khan for a hiatus of 40 minutes.

Ali Ameen Gandupur apprised the founding chairman his participation in the apex committee of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and whatever discussed in the SIFC meeting.

Ali Ameen Gandapur also held conversation over the country’s political situation.

Yesterday Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Ali Ameen Gandapur said that assurance has been given in the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) for protection of resources of the KP.

Talking to the media after attending the apex committee of the SIFC meeting, the CM KP apprised that he has demanded release of funds for the province immediately.

Ali Ameen Gandapur said that he will not compromise on the shares of the province. He said that he will go to every limit for provision of relief to the masses of the province.

He said that he will talk to Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi and the Minister for Energy Owais Leghari on the issue of the electricity.

He said that an investment under the SIFC is in the interests of Pakistan and there is no question of compromise.

The CM KP recognized the importance of the SIFC and assured his cooperation the SIFC.
