LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited the Combined Military Hospital in Rawalpindi today to enquire after the health of security personnel, injured during PTI’s protests.
Speaking on the occasion, she affirmed that those responsible for the attacks on the security forces will not be spared.
The Chief Minister said the attackers will be brought to justice and awarded exemplary punishment.
She commended the bravery and professionalism of the security personnel, saying that the security forces personnel are the sons of soil and pride of the entire nation.
She said Pakistan Army and security agencies’ personnel are sacrificing their lives to maintain peace in the country.
Maryam Nawaz said PTI has adopted the path of violence to obstruct the process of development and prosperity of the country.
