CM Punjab begins official engagements in Shanghai also visits Communist party Museum

Shanghai: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has begun official engagements in Shanghai.

Maryam Nawaz met with Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Committee of the Communist Party of China, Mr. Zou Zong Ming, as part of her official visit to Shanghai.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the need to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, science, technology, and industry.

She also invited companies from the automobile, IT, semiconductor, and robotics sectors in Shanghai to invest in Punjab’s Special Economic Zones.

The CM extended her gratitude for the training and educational opportunities provided to Pakistani students and professionals.

She assured Chinese companies of preferential facilities for investment in Punjab.

She endured that Pakistan and China strengthened their bilateral relations during the tenure of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif further remarked that game-changing projects like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) were initiated under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif.

On the other hand, the CMPunjab visited Communist Party of China Museum.

She was warmly welcomed at the Communist Party of China (CPC) Museum, where she received a briefing on the CPC’s historical evolution.

The visit featured a visual journey highlighting Mao Zedong’s struggles, the British Army conflict, the Russian Revolution, and the founding of the CPC.

The Chief Minister expressed keen interest in the statues of Chinese leaders and observed artifacts from ancient times, appreciating their historical significance.

“Experiencing China’s rich history has been extraordinary and unforgettable.. The CPC Museum reflects the 130-year history of the Communist Party,” said Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

She commended the museum’s digital representation of history and shared her thoughts in the guestbook.

“The Chinese people have made remarkable efforts toward development and prosperity. We are committed to progressing together in this journey,” she stated.
