LAHORE: The Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has praised Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) for its good work.
The Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz attended the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) Road Show 2024. She lauded the LWMC over its performance and announced a substantial budget of Rs200 billion for it. The allocation was aimed at implementing a robust solid waste system in 36 districts of Punjab, mirroring the successful model in Lahore.
Furthermore, directives were issued for expeditious construction of five scientific landfill sites and 10 material recovery filters.
