DG Khan: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated first and largest school nutrition program today in DG Khan.
Under the programme, Nutritious milk packs will be given to primary school students to eliminate malnutrition.
The program, initially started in Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur and Muzaffargarh districts, will benefit around 400 thousand children.
Speaking on the occasion, provincial Chief Minister said necessary reforms are being introduced to improve syllabus for the students, quality of education and sports facilities.
She said that despite a long distance from DG Khan to Lahore, she is not far away from the children .She said that she thought about you all children like mother adding all the children are VIPs for her.
The CM Punjab said that she thought no children know him in DG Khan but they all knew her while she said that the love she got here can’t be described.
She said that Punjab has thousands of schools where hundredth thousands of children study. She added Pakistan is not a rich country, we have less resources while good time will come and is coming .
She will try her best to take every possible effort to fulfill nutrition needs of children.
She said that the CM Punjab is like a mother wanted to do some thing practical for the children of the province.
