Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz on Thursday ordered the police for immediate stopping of robberies at road side.
The CM presided a special meeting to make Punjab safe zone in which Maryam Nawaz issued directions to Punjab police for prevention of crimes.
Maryam Nawaz said that to ensure taking measures for making travelling protected on roads. While she ordered the police to decrease crimes in every district of Punjab.
She also instructed the police to take every possible measures for saving shopkeepers and businessmen from crimes.
Maryam Nawaz said that in case of complaints make police officers answerable for crimes and robberies in their respective areas.
The CM also directed the police to keep women and children a priority against crimes and ordered to ensure protection of women and children at all cost .
She added that crimes against women and children are not at all acceptable in crimes on the roads.
She said that every possible efforts should be taken to make Punjab roads, streets and areas protected.
