Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has ordered strict action against individuals found guilty of illegally overcharging beneficiaries of the Ramadan package across the province.
In a directive issued today, she instructed authorities concerned to take uncompromising legal action against those exploiting the vulnerable and needy.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif also urged beneficiaries of the Ramadan package to promptly report any instances of overcharging by calling the Punjab government’s toll-free helpline at 0800-02345.
