Imran Places False Accusations, Misguides Youth: Shehbaz

Lahore (March 01, 2018): Chief Minister Punjab and PML N interim President Shehbaz Sharif said that Imran is always placing false accusations and misguides the youth.

Talking to media, he criticized PTI Chief said that he has wasted his time in lies. He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan only falsely accuses other people but when he receives a notice, he neither responds nor appears for legal proceedings.

“Imran has turned Faisal Subhan into a fictional character,” said the CM Punjab in relation to the CEO of Capital Engineering, who was probed for corruption allegations in the Multan Metro Bus project.

Shehbaz Sharif said that except for the honourable judges, no one can tell who is lying, adding that the PTI chief has accused him for the fifth time.

Shehbaz Sharif said that Imran in his allegation said that Subhan confessed before Chinese officials, but a Chinese delegation never came to Pakistan.He rejected all allegations of corruption and misconduct levelled by Imran Khan, clarifying that the Lahore Metro Bus project was made in Rs 30 billion while the PTI chief accused him of Rs 70 billion corruption.

The chief minister of Punjab admitted he knew Javed Sadiq but denied taking any commission from the person who Imran called Shehbaz’s front man.

He recalled that Imran had also accused him of offering Rs 10 billion through a mutual friend. “I sent him a notice. Neither Imran Khan nor his lawyer came to court,” he added.Shehbaz promised to resign if he is declared guilty, adding that “Imran should sit on a shrine upon being proven a liar”. He called Faisal Subhan a fictional character created by the PTI chairman.

The PTI Chairman Imran Khan earlier had said that Subhan confessed to the Chinese regulatory authority investigating corruption charges in the project that Shehbaz and his family received hefty kickbacks in their overseas accounts.
