Islamabad: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday claimed that the opposition has support of more than 172 members of National Assembly (NA) for a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Talking to media after appearing before an accountability court of Islamabad, the CM Sindh challenged the government to call the NA session and hold voting for the no-trust motion.
Syed Murad Ali Shah said that Imran Khan never thought of cooperation while we had shown interest to sit with the government over the election reforms.
He said that in the last three and half years rule of the PTI, mountains of oppression were broken on the people adding that the PPP’s long march pressured the government.
Shah declared speaker Punjab Assembly (PA) Pervez Ellahi statement a charge sheet against the government.
He said that people of Pakistan are behind the no-confidence motion adding that when there is believe of losing in a play then nervousness appears.
He said that the demands of the MQM-P are justified but we have to see their words while the party leadership decide participation of JUI-F in the long march.
