Islamabad: Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah said that if the powers of the Prime Minister, Chief Minister and Cabinet are given to the local councils, should everyone else sit at home?.
Talking to media in Islamabad, Murad Ali Shah said that we followed article 140-A while he said that the provincial government will follow the Supreme Court of Pakistan verdict given today.
The CM Sindh that if any matter of objection appeared in the verdict then we have an option of an appeal on the verdict of the SC.
Murad Ali Shah said that we brought changes in local bodies act by introducing an amendment in the provincial assembly.
He said that his party, Pakistan People’s Party had brought 18th amendment adding that the provincial government has improved facilities in hospitals of the province.
Regarding the presidential system, he said that the PTI government has to make constitutional assembly for the presidential system.
He categorically said that there is no space for the presidential system in the country.
The CM said that it is first right of the province to have its share in the minerals of the province adding that gas are not providing to our domestic consumers adding that the gas crisis can only be end when the incompetent PTI will oust from the power.
When we say to the federal government regarding unavailability of gas they say the previous government was a thieve. He said that the government has only one record that has been played over and over again.
He said that he heard that from news on Tv that the PM has rejected hike in petroleum prices, on the other hand the government has increased prices of electricity.
