Karachi: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah visited Karachi’s central procession of 10th Muharram at M.A Jinnah road.
CM Sindh reviewed arrangements in the procession while Syed Murad Ali Shah said that police and Rangers and all other institutions are on high alert.
The CM Sindh arrived in the procession with provincial minister for home Zia Lanjar, CM special assistant senator Waqar Mehdi, Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab and other officials.
The CM Sindh said that the new wave of terrorism continued in the country while seeing the situation the best security arrangments have been made.
He said that the local government department, Karachi Metropolitan department also mobilized for taking arrangements.
The CM Sindh also recieved briefing from the police on the security measures taken for the procession.
He said that security arrangements are reviewed till the end of the processions.
On political issue, the CM said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) are not in favour of banning any political party.
