Coalition Airstrike Hit Yemeni Defence Ministry in Sanaa

Sanaa (November 05, 2017): In a retaliatory action, Saudi-led coalition forces carried out an airstrike in Yemen and targeted the building  of defence ministry in Sanaa.

Earlier, Yemen’s air force targeted King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital of Riyadh on Saturday with a ballistic missile. But the missile was intercepted over northeast Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

Yemen’s Defense Ministry had said the missile attack “shook the Saudi capital” and the operation was successful. It also said the attack was conducted using a Yemeni-made, long-range ballistic missile called the Burqan 2H.

While Kuwait has condemned the Yemen’s missile attack on Saudi Arabia and offered support to Riyadh.
