Islamabad: Before National Security Committee (NSC) meeting, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Syed Asim Muneer called on Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, sources said.
Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gen Sahir Shamshad Mirza was also present in the meeting, sources added.
During the meeting national internaal security and matters relalted to peace were discussed. Operational prepardeness of Pakistan Army and its proffessional matters were also came under discussion.
The Army Chief took the premier into confidence over his visit to Qatar and Oman.
