New York: Army Chief General Asim Munir has met United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres in New York.
According to the Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) Army Chief General Asim Munir met with United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres in New York. Various issues discussed including Kashmir and Palestine, the Army Chief said that peace cannot be established in South Asia until the dispute of Kashmir and Palestine resolved according to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people of Kashmir. Removal special status of Kashmir is a violation of UN security Council resolutions.
The Army Chief reiterated Pakistan’s position on the Palestine issue, General Asim Munir said that the international community should play a proactive role in the situation in Gaza. The Army Chief expressed concern over the situation and the death of innocent children in Gaza
