Rawalpindi (June 12, 2018): Chief of Army Staff General, Qamar Javed Bajwa has left for Afghanistan on the invitation of Afghan President, Ashraf Ghani on Tuesday, said ISPR.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations(ISPR), COAS left for Afghanistan over the invitation of President, Ghani.

According to DG ISPR, Major General, Asif Ghafoor further said, Pakistan wishes to see National Unity Government and US / NATO succeeding to bring peace in Afghanistan.

On May 27, Afghanistan National Security Advisor Mohammad Hanif Atmar met with Pakistani Counterpart, Nasir Janjua, in which regional security and bilateral relations of the neighbouring countries will be discussed.
