Karachi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Syed Asim Munir paid visit to mausoleum of founder of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and offered Fateha.
The Army Chief also visited corps headquarter Karachi wherein the COAS was briefed on operational, security and other matters of formation.
The COAS was also apprised about help given to the civilian administration during the recent floods in Sindh.
General Asim Munir lauded soldiers and Rangers personnel over the operation preparedness during the recent floods and providing help to people after reaching the flood hit areas.

He appreciated formation and law enforcement agencies over retaining peaceful, protective and conductive enviroment in Karachi.
Before this, after his arrival in Karachi, corps commander Karachi Lieutenant General Muhammad Saeed welcomed him.
