COAS spends Eid day with officers, soldiers deployed in Wana, Chahkan

Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Syed Asim Munir on Monday, today, spent Eid-Ul-Fitr first day along with officers and soldiers deployed at the Western border areas of South Waziristan area of Wana and DI Khan area of Chahkan.

The Army Chief offered Eid prayer and prayed for a durable stability and prosperity of the country.

During his conversations with officers and soldiers, Gen Asim Munir extended warm heartfelt Eid greeting to them.

The Army Chief said to soldiers “Your’s determination and resilience not only keep our country protected but also precedent of your deep love for Pakistan.”

Gen Asim Munir lauded performances of armed forces, Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) shoulder to shoulder with people of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) who always showed bravery and valor against menace of terrorism.

Recognizing tireless efforts of formations, the COAS linked successes of Pakistan army with our martyred and determined people who sacrificed their lives for a great aim of bringing peace and stability in the country.

Corps Commander Peshawar warmly welcomed the Army Chief on his arrival in the province.
