The inquiry committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board has started an investigation into the conflict of interest of former chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq. The committee has decided not to call the chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq, the five -member committee of the board includes anti-corruption and vigilance unit Colonel Khalid, Colonel Akhtar, Director Media Alia Rasheed, Legal Department representative and Auditor finance. Inzamam-ul-Haq had resigned from the post of Chief Selector on the charge of holding shares in Player Agent Company. The inquiry committee will submit its report to the Pakistan Cricket Board ( PCB) within five days. Inzamam-ul-Haq ‘s stand was that the committee should conduct its own investigation. If the charge not proven, he will assume the post again. Inzamam-ul-Haq was accused of holding shares in the company of himself and the players’ agent Talha Rahmani.
