Karachi: Commissioner Karachi has imposed ban of throwing garbage in open areas for two months.
As per the notification, the Department of Sold Waste Management Board (DSWMB) had written a letter to the commissioner Karachi that solid waste are being thrown and burnt in well and open areas owing to which enviromental issues develop.
The DSWMB added that throwing of solid waste in nullahs are also creating problems.
Taking notice of these issues the Commissioner Karachi on Tuesday,t oday imposed ban on throwing garbage in open areas which will be effected for two months.
