Lahore: Provincial Information Minister Punjab Uzma Bukhari has said that She is completely agreed with Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Ali Ameen Gandapur on his statement over Kala Bagh dam.
In a presser on Tuesday, the Minister said that if flood comes in Sindh then we will be in pain while she said that we (all provinces) have to sit together to decide that the new dams are indispensable.
She apprised that 41 people have died so far owing to disastrous floods adding that Multan and South Punjab are on a risk of the floods.
She said that the Punjab government will continue its relief work till settling down of each and every flood-affectee.
Uzam said ” The most dangerous flood situation is prevailing while we are trying to save Multan from floods.”
It is pertinent to mention here that CM KP on Sunday had advocated for construction of Kala Bagh dam declaring it the most urgent need to safe the country from enormous loses of the floods.
