WEB DESK: Pakistan’s popular young digital content creator, Talha Ahmed had his Instagram account permanently suspended by the platform.
In an interview , Talha’s brother, Tahaa Ahmed, explained that the suspension was due to Talha’s young age. According to Instagram, his account was suspended because he is under 13 years old. However, Tahaa mentioned that Talha is currently 16 years old.
Tahaa stated that when their brother’s account was suspended, they submitted an appeal to Instagram. As part of the process, the platform requested a form along with proof of identity or other documents to verify his age.He further explained that since Talha does not have a national ID card or a valid document, they have uploaded his school documents online, which contain his name, age, and photograph. Despite this, Instagram has not yet reinstated the account.
When asked about the possible reasons for the account’s sudden suspension and whether Talha will create a new account or wait for the old one to be reactivated, Tahaa admitted that they are unsure if the account was reported, permanently banned, or what exactly happened. As for content creation, they plan to start fresh with a new account soon.
Meanwhile, fans are leaving various comments on Talha Ahmed’s Facebook account following its suspension. One user commented that the video had already reached its audience, while another questioned why the account was banned if Talha is 16 years old.It is worth noting that with millions of followers, Talha Ahmed is admired for his videos on social, political, and domestic topics. Despite the setback, he hopes to restart his social media journey with a new account and continue engaging with his audience.
