Laki Marwat (October 29, 2017): A contractor who filed a complaint in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parliamentarian Ayesha Gulalai gunned down near Lakki Marwat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Contractor – Noor Zaman was killed when unknown suspects on motorcycles opened fire at him in Laki Marwat’s Tajori town, Police said.
The body was shifted to a nearby hospital. Police said that we have started an investigation. Once thorough investigations are carried out, we will be able to comment further.
On August 8, Zaman had moved the NAB and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ehtesab Commission against the former Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader over alleged corruption in development projects.
The petition filed with NAB in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa alleged that Gulalai and her father, Shams-ul-Qayyum, have been involved in embezzlement and corruption in various development schemes.
