Islamabad: Coronavirus fifth wave continued to be fatal as well as more 38 people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours while increase in positive cases have declined as 3, 338 positive cases reported in the last 24 hours.
As per the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the total number of cases jumped to 29, 516 while whole number of coronavirus positive cases reached 14, 63, 111.

According to NCOC, across the country 44, 779 tests were conducted while positive rate remained 7.45.
As many as 5,52, 262 cases reported in Sindh, 2, 03, 110 cases reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 4, 89, 655 cases reported in Punjab, 1, 31, 628 cases reported in Islamabad, 34, 819 reported in Balochistan, 40, 741 cases reported in AJK and 10, 896 cases reported in Gilgit Baltistan.
The highest number of deaths from coronavirus reported in Punjab wherein 13, 252 lost their lives, 7, 905 in Sindh, 6, 053 in KP, Islamabad 988, Gilgit Baltistan 189, 368 in Blochistan, and 761 in AJK.
