KARACHI: Corps Commander Karachi Lt General Shahid Baig Mirza called on Sindh governor Muhammad Zubair here on Friday.
During the meeting, overall law and order situation of the city came under discussion.
According to a spokesman of Governor House, the Corps Commander called on the the Governor at Governor House and discussed with him overall law and order situation, the ongoing targeted operation in the city and other matters. Both the Governor and Corps Commander pledged to take the ongoing Karachi operation to its logical conclusion.
On the occasion, Muhammad Zubair hailed the sacrifices of Rangers and other law enforcement agencies personnel for establishing peace in the city. He vowed that the sacrifices of law enforcement agencies would not let to go in vain.
He added that Karachi was ideal city for investments and industrialization. He underlined the need to join hands and work for restoring the real identity of the city.
