Country’s condition inundated after Martial law 4 times: Saad

LAHORE: Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq said that the country’s situation is inundated after Martial law imposed four times, while he warned political player not to play with future of Pakistan and democracy, adding that he will not let few people decide; now the vote will decide.

Addressing the Kashmir Seminar held in Lahore, Khawaja Saad Rafiq said that the freedom of Kashmir and self-determination is incomplete agenda of Pakistan, while Kashmir dispute must be resolved according to the desire of Kashmiri people. He said that there is no guarantee for peace in South Asia, until Kashmir issue is resolved.

Criticizing the opponents, Khawaja Saad Rafiq said that amateur politicians made useless statements in Azad Kashmir electoral campaign, adding that they must think that elections will pass, but their statements will create disappointment among Kashmiris. He said that Pakistani nation never welcomed Martial law, while he urged political parties not to do such acts which may threaten the democracy. He said that opposition can’t prove corruption against Prime Minister in court. Khawaja Saad Rafiq further said that democracy is not only the responsibility of government, but also everyone will have to run it together.
