ABBOTTABAD : Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zakaullah has said that Pakistan is a peaceful country, but in case of any aggression the integrity and sovereignty of the country would be defended at all cost.
Addressing the passing-out parade of 35th PMA Graduate Course at Kakul on Saturday, he said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb and National Action Plan were the demonstration of the commitment of the nation against terrorism. He said that the Operation Zarb-e-Azb was in completion’s stage.
The CNS said that any aggression or strategic miscalculation by India would not go unpunished.
The Naval Chief said the armed forces will defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country with full might at all costs if any aggression was committed by India.
He said that Pakistan was a peace loving country and believed in peaceful coexistence, but any misadventure would be responded in a befitting manner.
“India’s concocted stories and false allegations against Pakistan are aimed at diverting world attention from gross human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir,” the Naval chief said.
Admiral Zakaullah reiterated the security forces’ resolve to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country.
Earlier, the Naval chief gave away prizes to the cadets who showed extraordinary performance. It is to be mentioned here that some 36 cadets of Saudi Arabia and Libya were among the cadets who passed out today as part of 35th PMA Graduate Course.
