Islamabad: A local court of Islamabad today approved a four-day physical remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Senator Azam Swati in a case against him for his tweets and statements against the country institutions.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has insisted the court to give a six-day remand. The court approved an appeal not to produce Azam Swati in court on security fears.
The cases were registered against the PTI leader and former Railways minister Azam Swati over tweeting and passing statements against the national institutions.
