ISLAMABAD: A district and sessions court in Islamabad has declared former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur a proclaimed offender in a case involving liquor and arms recovery due to his repeated absence from court proceedings.
The court has also issued arrest warrants against Gandapur. The announcement was made during the hearing overseen by Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan Chishti.
Court records reveal that the case is lodged at Bara Kahu police station. Despite being served multiple notices, Gandapur failed to appear before the court, leading the magistrate to take this step.
Further hearings in the case have been postponed, with law enforcement agencies instructed to carry out the arrest warrants and submit a compliance report to the court.
