Court issues arrest warrants for former KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur

ISLAMABAD: A judicial magistrate in Islamabad has issued arrest warrants for former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur due to his repeated failure to attend court proceedings.

Presiding over the case linked to two FIRs filed in connection with the PTI Azadi March, Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan Chishti expressed dissatisfaction with Gandapur’s continual non-appearance, despite being summoned multiple times.

In light of his persistent absence, the court issued arrest warrants against him and postponed further hearings in the cases until January 5.

Notably, Ali Amin Gandapur and others are implicated in two cases registered at Bara Kahu Police Station. In contrast, PTI founder Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, and several other prominent leaders have already been acquitted in related cases.
