Islamabad: District and Session Court on Friday rejected Sheikh Rashid petition for registration of First Information Report (FIR) against raid on his house.
Additional Session Judge Tahir Abbass Sapra heard the Sheikh Rashid petition. The Judge categorically said that the police have not done any crime and the petitioner petition is rejected.
The Judge further said that the court can’t order registration of an FIR just mere hearing the arguments adding that the police raided the politician house as per law.
The police has taken search warrants for raid on his house on May 30. As per the police a case has registered in the police station Kohsar against Sheikh Rasheed and others.
The judge has pronounced the reserved verdict in the case and issued three-page deatiled judgement.
Earilier in the hearing, the police submitted written reply in the court.
The petitioner counsel apprised that the police raided his client house, tortured his emloyees and left his vehicles as well while he said that what the response had submitted by the police is astonishing.
The counsel said that the police is trying to arrest Sheikh Rashid politically adding that they (police) not leave a person untill they hold press conference in the press club. Sheikh Rashid counsel also presented the petitioner employee medical report in the court.
The court after hearing the arguments reserved the verdict for registration of the FIR against SHO police station Kohsar over raiding the politician house.
