Accused Saeed Ahmed, Naeem Mehmood and Mansoor Rizvi were also present in the court. Ahmed’s counsel Advocate Hashmat Habib gave arguments on acquittal plea filed by the co-accused Saeed Ahmed.

Habib said that first inquiry against Ishaq Dar was initiated in 2007 which later closed but Saeed’s bank accounts existed earlier. The lawyer rejected impression for Saeed’s appointment as NBP president on personal choice. He said that the appointment was made in accordance with rules and regulations while the process of his removal was humiliating.
