ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader Barrister Gauhar said that ‘Bat’ symbol will restore by Courts.
Barrister Gohar, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has said that there are political parties even without electoral symbols, the Election Commission’s decision does not affect the registration of the party, the courts will restore the electoral symbols, Insha allah.
Speaking outside Adiala Jail, Barrister Gauhar said that PTI will approach the Supreme Court on this matter.
Barrister Gauhar also answered the question whether he is PTI chairman or not after the Election Commission declared PTI’s intra-party elections null and void. Barrister Gohar said that Imran Khan was the chairman of the party, is and will remain, until Imran khan comes out he will perform the duties assigned to him by Mr. Khan.
Regarding the trial of Imran Khan, the PTI leader further said that every human being has basic rights and the courts should take them seriously. It cannot be done in haste.
He said that the criminal trial of none of them is happening in haste, they will approach the court to take back the bat symbol, he hope the court will do justice, the Supreme Court will definitely restore our symbol.Barrister Gohar said that ‘Bat’ is the symbol of 70% of the people of Pakistan, no one can take away any symbol allotted to you. the Election Commission did not mention that we have violated any law or regulation
