Islamabad (March 15, 2018): Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Sartaj Aziz says China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is not against any country but for peace and prosperity of all nations around the globe.
Addressing Pakistan Capital Investment Summit and Expo 2018 in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said CPEC is not just about roads and infrastructure, but it is all about people to people connectivity for brighter future of the world.
Sartaj Aziz said CPEC will transform Pakistan into an economic power that all the Pakistanis want.
He said in the next phase of CPEC implementation, railway infrastructure will be built at greater level. He assured that Pakistan will become a powerful economy by 2030.
The Deputy Chairman Planning Commission said Pakistan is proud that CPEC is a flagship project of China’s One Belt One Road initiative, and Pakistan’s CPEC is far ahead of other countries in terms of progress regarding one Belt One Road project.
