Canberra: The Cricket Australia has formally approved its team visit to Pakistan while Kangaroos are visting Pakistan after 24 years for three tests, three One-day-Internationals and a single T-20 international.
Australian team will reach Pakistan on February 27 while three tests matches will be played in Rawalpinid, Karachi and Lahore.
Three ODI’s and only T-20 will be played in the garrison city of Rawalpindi.
The Cricket Australia Board’s vital meeting was held at its headquarter in which an approval was given for a change of schedule for Pakistan.
The CA director Nick Hokley said that he wanted to thanks Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Pakistan and Australian governments for ensuring Australian team visit to Pakistan after 24 years.

He said that it is a historic moment and is vital for promotion of sports on global level.
It is pertinent to mention here that Australian team had visited Pakistan last time back in 1998 in the leadership of Mark Tylor.
The Kangaroos team will arrive Islamabad on February 27. After remaining in an isolation for three days the team will start its training at the Pindi stadium.
First Test match will start on March 4 in Rawalpindi, second test on March 12 in Karachi and third and last test will be plyaed in Lahore on March 21.
A one-day-series of three matches and a single T-20 will be played at Rawalpindi stadium on March 29, March 31, April 2 and only T-20 on April 5 respectively.
Australia’s ODI team will reach Islamabad on March 24 while the guest team will return back to its country from Islamabad.
