SUKKUR: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested a terrorist of banned outfit during an operation in Sukkur on Thursday night.
According to CTD sources, the terrorist was arrested during an operation near graveyard of shrine Awais Shah at the National Highway near Sukkur. The arrested terrorist was identified as Riaz Pirzada and belonged to banned organization.
The CTD sources also informed that the arrested terrorist was wanted in various terrorist activities in Sindh province. The CTD officials also recovered a rifle, bullets, detonator and ball bearings from possession of the arrested terrorist.
