LAHORE: Counter Terrorism Department claimed to have killed six terrorists of banned outfits in an encounter near Shikhupura bypass.
While four of their accomplices managed to flee. Sources said that CTD officials on a tip-off stopped a car and two motorcycles near Shikhkupura bypass but the terrorists opened fire on them and resultantly six terrorist were killed.
The police said that the terrorists belonged to a banned outfits. Police claimed to have recovered three Kalashnikovs, three pistols, two kilogram explosive material and bullets.
While the police launched search operation in the area to arrest the accomplices of the terrorists.
