Dar set to visit Beijing to co-chair Pakistan-China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar will visit China on January 4, 2026, to co-chair the 7th Pakistan–China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue in Beijing.

Invited by Wang Yi, a senior Chinese official and Foreign Minister, the visit highlights the longstanding bilateral ties between the two nations. The Strategic Dialogue serves as the top platform for reviewing bilateral cooperation and addressing mutual regional and global concerns.

This visit underscores ongoing high-level exchanges aimed at strengthening the All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, reaffirming commitments to regional peace, stability, and sustainable development. Both sides will also launch initiatives and commemorative activities for the 75th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.
