Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Saturday acknowledged the growing strength of Pakistan-UK relations and recent high-level interactions between the two nations.
He shared these remarks during a meeting with the United Kingdom’s High Commissioner, Jane Marriott, who visited him in Islamabad. Both sides also exchanged views on regional and global developments during their discussion.
A day prior, Senator Dar received a phone call from the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas. The two leaders discussed ongoing regional and global issues, appreciating the consistent high-level engagements and the positive progress in Pakistan-EU relations.
They also expressed optimism about continuing collaboration in both bilateral and multilateral forums, with particular focus on the upcoming Pakistan–EU Strategic Dialogue set to take place in Brussels this November.
