DC Karachi denied permission to JUI-F rally .

KARACHI: The Deputy Commissioner Karachi East district has denied permission to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Public rally, owing to security threats.

The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Public rally was scheduled to begin at 4 pm today, but the Deputy Commissioner East Karachi has denied the permission to JUI (F) for Public rally due to security threats.

The police in its report submitted to the DC Karachi East stated that amid recent terror incidents in the city, the JUI-F cannot be given permission for a public rally.

It should be noted that Prime Minister’s Advisor on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has stated that the government has no intention to be strict with participate of the march announced by the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) in Karachi    

In a statement, the former Interior minister said that PML-N supremo Nawaz Shareef and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif themselves would engage in talks with Maulana Fazulur Rehman since they enjoyed close and cordial association with the JUI_F chief.

Maulana Fazulur Rehman has announced the protect against the “Feb8 poll rigging” in Karachi at 4 pm on Thursday, Ahead of the rally, the traffic police have come up with a diversion plan to avoid traffic jams on different routes.
