Karachi: Jamat-e-Islami Ameer Siraj Ul Haq said that his party’s struggle against rampant inflation continued adding after one week of expressing solidarity with Palestinian brother, we will start a protest movement once again.
Addressing a sit-in outside the governor’s house, Karachi against the rising prices of petroleum products, electricity and rampant inflation, he said that we are thankful to God Almighty that we saw the Red Army’s historic defeat.
The JI Ameer said that the action of Hamas operation Al-Quds flood has damaged Israel’s dreams and its supporters.
Siraj Ul Haq said that the mujahideen of Hamas have destroyed the Israeli dream of the greater Israel.
He said that leaving the support to Palestinians is like extending support to the zionists. Hence the JI will observe a “week of expressing solidarity with Palestinians”.
The JI Ameer said that death is cheap in the country while living has become tough.
He said that rulers have spread unrest and snatched happiness from the faces of the masses.
Siraj Ul Haq said that we have taken to the streets against the system of cruelty and in support of the oppressed.
Siraj Ul Haq said that the cruelty done by the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government back in 1994 with the masses while signing agreements with International Power Producers (IPPs) is such cruelty even not committed by the East India Company with the masses.
Those rulers have put chains of loans in the hands of masses, now the time has come to break the chains and handcuff the rulers with the chains, Siraj said.
