ISLAMABAD: The death toll from the Khadija Al-Kubra Mosque blast in Tarlai has climbed to 36 as two more injured victims succumbed to their wounds.
One of the deceased, 30-year-old Ali Naqi Bosan, passed away after two days of treatment in a private hospital, where his family had transferred him from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).
Ali and his father, Farman Ali Bosan, who also died in the same explosion, were from Ratodero, Sindh. Ali was the nephew of Polio Eradication Program advisor Altaf Bosan and will be buried beside his father in Islamabad.
Meanwhile, Polyclinic Hospital confirmed the death of another victim, Syed Aqeel Abbas, who died despite intensive care following surgery. His body was later moved to Imambargah Al-Sadiq in G-9.
