KARACHI: Decision has been made to strictly enforce heavy traffic timings in the city.
According to the details, Sindh Government spokesperson Sadia Javed stated in a statement that a decision has been made to strictly enforce the court order prohibiting heavy traffic from entering the city from 11 PM to 6 AM.
She said, Solid Waste Department has been told to shift its operations to night within a month and a half. The Solid Waste vehicles will also now transport waste at night; however, they have been given a month and a half’s time to adjust their operations.
Sadia Javed stated, heavy traffic transporting goods will be allowed to operate during the day. She added that vehicles with fitness certificates from the Sindh government will be tagged.
According to the spokesperson, Sindh government has decided to take strict action against protesters and has warned that anyone who blocks roads or incites unrest will face legal action.
